Jonathan, I have installed your Web Part template on Visual Studio 2005 Professional with Windows 2003 Server R2 and WSS 2.0.
I have created new Web Part template, compiled it, copied it to bin directory, added my Web Part as safe Web Part in config.
At http://localhost/_layouts/1033/NewDwp.aspx there is no my Web Part.
What is wrong?

Please detail out the step you have taken in deploying your web part and also your WSS configuration. Have you configure your WSS to run on .NET 2.0?
is this for WSS v2 or WSS v3?
